Perfect for adventure travellers with toys – the double garage has internal access and has great lockable storage for mountain bikes. The kitchen is brand new with a gas hob, electric oven, plenty of top quality cookware and a Nespresso machine (bring your own pods).

There are multiple entertaining areas available;
An expansive deck off the kitchen/dining area with a large Spa Pool, outdoor dining and BBQ. A private decked area off the largest bedroom with outdoor reclining loungers. A great hang out area downstairs with a 42” Smart TV, bar leaner, comfy armchairs, bar fridge and access to the massive garage so guests can tinker on bikes/cars/boats while hanging in the “man cave”.

The main living areas are open plan, with gas heating and gas hot water. All mod cons including Wifi are included.

Pets are allowed if kept off furniture (dog bed provided).

Mountain Bike Retreat is located in Lynmore on the east side of Rotorua. The area is well known for it’s close proximity to the incredible Whakarewarewa (Redwoods) Forest where you can experience some of the best mountain biking and walking trails in the country. In addition to this, we have the incredibly tasty Mistress of Cakes, the Good Eastern Tap House a number of other cafes and shops all within a short drive or walk of the house.

Lynmore is also just a 5 minute drive to some of our favourite lakes including Tikitapu (The Blue Lake), Lake Okareka and Lake Tarawera. From the front deck of Adventurer’s Retreat, you get great views across the city including Lake Rotorua and Mokoia Island.

Lakeside Gem

Details

This Lakehouse was built 2017 near the shores of Lake Rotorua. It has stunning views over the lake, all new furnishings and is fully equipped for a fantastic stay in Rotorua.

The house has a heat pump (air-con) so its super cosy in winter and cool in summer. All bedrooms also have additional heaters to keep you warm and cosy.

The house is two story and has outdoor living both at garden level and from the second story deck which features fantastic views over the lake. Grab the kayaks and take them down to the lake for a paddle or kick back, cook a BBQ and enjoy the view.

Lakeside Gem is located in a lovely quiet residential area, just 10 minutes drive from the central city.

Lake Rotorua is obviously one of the big draw cards in the area however you’ll be spoilt for choice with Skyline, Rainbow Springs, The Agrodome, Ogo, Mitai Maori Village and many more attractions within a 5-10 minute drive.

Roselake Retreat

Come and enjoy this special holiday home on the edge of Lake Rotorua.

The house is a rustic and comfortable house featuring four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Master bedroom has an ensuite with toilet and shower and has sliding doors out to either the back deck where the spa is, or the front deck where you can see the lake.
The property has a 2 metre high secure fence around the entire yard meaning the kids are safe to run around without the risk of escaping out onto the road or towards the lake. There is also room to park a boat and a locked garage for secure storage.

Drag the kayak out the front gate onto the reserve and enjoy a paddle in the picturesque Lake Rotorua (there is a kayak available with lifejackets). If fishing is your thing, there is excellent trout fishing off the bank of the reserve (fishing gear must be supplied by you).

As the crow flies, it sits just along from Skyline where you can enjoy a gondola and luge ride, try the Skyline Bike Park , taste the wine at the Volcanic Hills tasting room and enjoy fantastic meals at the restaurant.

If you continue up the hill to the top of Mt Ngongotaha, you will find Rotorua’s award winning restaurant Aorangi Peak – well worth spoiling yourself!

The house has a huge open plan lounge with smart TV, and a large master bedroom at the back of the house set up for kids to keep the noise away from the adults. The kitchen is marble with a new gas hob, electric oven, plenty of top quality cookware and a Nespresso machine (bring your own pods).

Pets are allowed if kept off furniture – just let us know as there is a small fee of $30 per animal payable.

This house is a great spot for a relaxing break away from it all. Only a 2 min walk / 30 second bike ride to the Redwood Forest, with a relaxing spa to come home and soak in!!

Redwoods Retreat is a three bedroom property with two bathrooms and two toilets. The kitchen / living / dining is open plan providing a great social space during your stay.

Adventurer’s Retreat is a large four bedroom property with two seperate bathrooms, two toilets, two lounges and a games room in the garage for the kids.

There is plenty to keep you entertained in all weather with Sky TV, DVDs, high speed wifi and a basement table tennis table. After a day of adventures relax with a soak in the indoor spa – perfect summer and winter!

There are also a number of parks, the Lynmore Tennis Club, a dairy and boutique bakery very closely located. A shirt walk away is the Redwood Shopping Centre featuring cafes, a bakery, fruit and vegetable shop, sushi, fish and chips, kebab shop, Burger Fuel, hair and beauty, medical centre, pharmacy and more!

Approx 5 minute drive from the airport and 5 minute drive to the city centre, we are also only a 5-10 Minute drive to the Blue Lake, Lake Okareka and Lake Tarawera.
